Julie grew up in the mountains of Colorado on her family’s Morgan farm, riding and showing their horses in bred shows in Saddle Seat, Western and Hunt Seat throughout the country. Julie began training her family’s horses when she was 14, which cultivated her love for horses and fed her hunger to make horses her life’s work. Her parents impressed upon her the power of education which motivated her to get her Bachelor’s Degree in English from the University of Colorado. Her degree helped her find her voice and give her the tools to learn to teach and troubleshoot the various challenges in training and managing her business and clients. Her passion for Dressage began in college and continues today. The principles of helping both horse and rider become the best they as a team can be, is at the core of her passion. Julie has won or facilitated the win of over 45 National and World titles in the Morgan Breed and Western Dressage arenas. Her biggest pride is in seeing her clients succeed in the arena, whether it be at home or the show pen. Currently she works in Loveland, and is proud to have many long-time clients that she considers dear friends.
